Boda Soul Pilates Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions must be fully understood and accepted prior to purchasing a membership, class, or service at Boda Soul. Direct Debit & Card Fees apply to all transactions. Boda Soul is not responsible for any additional fees that occur due to failed payments. Memberships, classes, and services are non-refundable, non-extendable, and non-transferable. By purchasing any of the aforementioned, you agree to the T&C’s outlined below. 

Memberships

• Boda Soul Memberships are billed weekly and have an automatic rollover at the agreed rate. By purchasing a membership, you agree to the minimum 4-week period and the below terms.

• Bookings can be made upto 4 weeks in advance.

• Credits can be used across all studio services. 1 credit = 1 class/infrared sauna, 2 credits = 1 contrast therapy session.

• Unused credits will roll over to the following month as long as the membership is still active.

• Extra credits can be purchased at a discounted membership price.

• Memberships have a minimum pause term of 14 days and can be paused up to 8 weeks per year. Any further pauses will incur a $5.00 administrative fee per week. 

• Membership cancellations can be made by emailing info@bodasoul.com. A minimum notice of 14 days is required to cancel your membership.

Late Cancellations/No Show 

• Boda Soul has a fair booking policy to ensure all members of our community have access to classes. 

• An 8-hour policy applies to classes*. Canceling within this window will result in an automatic loss of your credit.

• Failure to cancel the class together will result in a $20.00 no-show fee. 

• *Embody classes have a 12-hour cancellation policy. Canceling within this window will result in an automatic $20.00 fee.

• Appointments have a 12-hour cancellation policy. Canceling within this window will result in the loss of your credit. 

• Class/Appointment cancellations will only be accepted via the app. Please ensure you receive our confirmation of cancellation email. 

Waitlist - Opt In 

• Our waitlist feature allows you the opportunity to reserve a spot in your chosen class should another client cancel their booking. 

• You will receive an SMS asking to confirm your place and have 30 minutes to respond to secure the spot before the next person on the waitlist is contacted. 

• If a cancellation occurs within a 2-hour window of the class, all members on the waitlist will be contacted, and the first person to respond and accept the spot will be booked into the class. 

• You will receive a confirmation email if your booking has been successful. 

Studio & Class Etiquette 

• Please arrive to your class 5- 10 minutes before the start time. This ensures a smooth, safe, and calm setup.

• All devices are to be left in the waiting room. Phones will not be permitted inside the studio once class has commenced. 

• Clients who are 5 or more minutes late will not be allowed to participate in the class for safety reasons. 

• On the occasion you are late and arrive after the class has started, please be respectful of your teacher and class members. We ask that you seamlessly join the class without further interruption.

• Grip socks and towels are compulsory for all classes. These are available to purchase at reception should you forget yours. 

Infrared Sauna Etiquette 

• The sauna will be switched on and ready for use. The temperature, timer, and bluetooth speaker have been set for you. 

• Please do not touch the control panel inside the sauna. 

• If you have trouble connecting to the bluetooth function, your Boda Instructor will be there to help you. 

• The max temp for our 45 min sauna sessions is 65 degrees. Due to multiple uses per day, the higher temperature functions are not to be used. 

• If you are on the Intro Offer, please be advised that your sauna appointment is 30 mins.

• Any make-up is to be removed with the make-up wipes provided prior to entering the sauna and placed in the bin provided. This is to ensure our towels remain in top condition. 

• Towels are placed strategically to protect the wood from sweat. Please do not sit on the wood without a towel. 

• Avoid touching or leaning against the glass part of the sauna. 

• We recommend drinking plenty of water before, during, and after your session. 

• A timer will sound, letting you know you have 5 minutes remaining. Once finished, place towels in the basket next to the sauna.

• If you have any pre-existing medical conditions, please contact your health care professional before booking. 

Contrast Therapy Etiquette 

• The sauna and cold plunge will be switched on and ready for use. 

• A towel will be placed on the bench and below your feet to protect the wood from sweat. Do not sit or place your feet on the wood without a towel. 

• Arrive 5 minutes prior to your appointment time. As the appointment is located in our courtyard and aligns with our class times, late arrivals will not be allowed. 

• You will spend roughly 10-15 minutes in the sauna. This will be followed by a rinse-off under the shower and then approximately 60-90 seconds in the cold plunge. Repeat this process 2 more times, ensuring you are completely dry before returning to the sauna each time. 

• Once finished, leave the sauna door open and place towels in the basket next to the sauna. 

• The instructor will open the doors for you once the class has finished.

Pregnant, Post Natal & Injuries 

• Pregnant, postnatal, & Injured clients must provide written doctor’s clearance prior to participating in classes at Boda Soul. 

• Our Boda Burn, Reformer Burn & Embody classes are not pregnancy-safe. 

General 

• Classes are not transferable to another individual and cannot be used by another person, including family members. If someone other than the person booked into the class arrives, the individual will be asked to book their session.

• Booking a class and/or purchasing a membership/service at Boda Soul means you understand and acknowledge the potential risks associated with exercise & wellness. You agree and accept full responsibility whilst participating and engaging in all Boda Soul classes, workshops, and services. 

• Prices, classes/services, and instructors are subject to change without notice. Direct Debit and Card Fees apply to all transactions. If you do not agree with the above terms and conditions, you should not purchase a class, membership, or service from Boda Soul.
